    Industry Advisory Panel

    Industry Advisory Panel (IAP) members are distinguished Professional Engineers and senior industry practitioners appointed to provide valuable insights into industry expectations, emerging trends and professional competencies. Their guidance helps ensure that UTP programmes remain relevant, industry-focused and globally competitive.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    1. Participate in programme planning and review activities to support continuous quality improvement.
    2. Review programme objectives and curriculum implementation in relation to current and future industry requirements.
    3. Review teaching and learning approaches, delivery methods, laboratory facilities and industrial training implementation.
    4. Provide an industry perspective on graduate quality to ensure graduates are:
    • Relevant and valuable to the profession.
    • Aligned with industry and government objectives.
    • Responsive to changing industry needs.
    • Prepared for technological advancement.
    • Able to contribute towards research, innovation and national development.
